Where does the money go?
The Queen B Foundation directly supports breakthrough and collaborative ALS research at the Ozdinler Lab at Northwestern University, run by Dr. Pembe Hande Ozdinler. This Lab is changing the game and making large advancements in the fight against ALS. In 2021 they discovered the NU-9 compound which has proven to reverse neuron damage and continued research on the compound has shown amazing results. The Queen B Foundation is an extension of A Long Swim, a nonprofit based in Illinois that has raised over $2 million to support the Ozdinler Lab since its founding in 2011.
